My dog training guide
Dogs have an excellent sense of hearing and smelling. They can trace your presence from a large distance. They are very beneficial in security purpose and they can recognize the same person they smelt of months ago. Still stray dogs and breed dogs have one thing in common. they don't know how to behave and in the beginning of its life at your doorstep you often find that they are quite disturbing and lousy, they keep chewing furniture, bark continuously for no reason, defecate at their will (place), dig holes in garden destroying the grass structure and the greenery plane look. Every dog owner faces these problems but t depends how they behave with the dog, how much friendly they really are to the feeling of bedding an animal aside them. It’s the owner who has to train the dog according to his house architecture and house surrounding.
The dog has to be familiar with its master as soon as it comes to know about him/ her. any delay in getting close to the dog creates a bad impression on the dog's mentality. Hence as soon as you buy a dog, try to be friendly with clear pronunciation and marks using hands, legs. Most of the orders are easily understood by them if there is any physical indication. The dogs one trained would keep your home safe and secured.
Following points are important for the master:
1. A good and strong bond between you and the dog makes the dog assured that you would never harm him and he sees trust and co-operation as a return gift to you in exchange.
2. While training, give care about the fact that the dog should know almost every person and every type of person in your locality. gatherings and occasions like birthday parties where lots of noise is created, wedding parties where everyone behaves with maturity. make the dog acquainted with all streets and the stray dogs roaming in the street. so that if it gets lost in the middle of the market then it would be able to come back to home.
3. All your family members should behave properly with the dog. not necessarily they need to like it, but should not be against it. if the dog finds that its master loves it and the other member doesn't then it might harm the other person.
